Encouraged by overwhelmingly positive responses from the past giant synapse meetings, we are pleased to announce the 2017 Giant Synapse mini-symposium to be staged at the Georgetown University on Friday, November 10th, 8:30 am- 5:30 pm.

The purpose of this symposium is to provide an effective platform to discuss exciting scientific discoveries and exchange ideas originated from a variety of synapses. The symposium is staged one day before the onset of the official SFN programs, featuring an excellent line up of speakers presenting their exciting work in a series of 20 mins short-talks including Q&A. Trainees will have multiple opportunities to interact with speakers and distinguished guests in formal and informal settings.

The registration is FREE, but all attendees are required to register.                                           Please register by November 1st, 2017.

We also encourage our guests (trainees, especially) to attend dinner (Il Canale, 50$ per person) at the end of the symposium to continue discussions in a more relaxed atmosphere.

We are looking forward to another exciting Giant Synapse meeting!
